Job Description :-
Firmware engineers are responsible for 3G physical layer firmware development. The main tasks would be to design, code and unit tests the different firmware blocks. The code must have high quality to meet the stringent performance and memory requirement of physical layer. Needs to do the bug fixing and maintenance of the assigned firmware block. If there are issues raised by platform/customer from time to time, they need to be analyzed immediately and next step is to be provided. Needs to work closely with component verification team for test case failures and root cause analysis support.
Qualifications:- B.Tech in electronics/telecomminication/computer science.
- Need to be highly proficient in C programming and embedded concepts.
- Knowledge about the 3GPP UMTS standard, esp. for L1 and Physical Layer would be recommended
- 3G system and protocol stack knowledge (RRC, RLC/MAC) would be a plus
