Job Description:-
Debugs software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products. Develops, modifies, and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyzes test results to ensure correct functionality, determine root causes of failures and recommends corrective action. Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems. Provides feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software.

Qualifications:- 

• Functional/Industry Knowledge:
• Experience with 2G modem physical layer on embedded systems (GSM/GPRS/EDGE)
• Development of new concepts for validation
• Validation plan definition with Firmware team
• Development of testcases in C/C++ and script languages
• Testcases execution on different platforms (virtual prototypes, boards�)
• Debugging and verification status reporting
• Testcase documentation
• Support to customers and platforms
• Excellent communicator (both in writing and verbally)
• Good English (written and spoken)
• Team player
• Must be able to work with people in many different cultures
