Job Description
Windows Systems Administration role in support of Windows physical and virtual infrastructure hosts. Assist with design, procurement, implementation, and management of windows server technologies. Deal with day-to-day operational tasks in support of our internal customers and external vendor partners. The ideal candidate will be expected to excel with limited supervision.
Desired Profile
Skills/Experience Five to nine years systems administration experience with Windows operating systems and related technologies required. Must have extensive hardware experience with HP, Cisco UCS, DELL or IBM. Experience with Microsoft technologies is a requirement. Experience with VMWare vSphere 4.x administration is required. Prior experience supporting server and server-related technologies in complex heterogeneous networks (including multi-tiered extranet) is favored. VBScript, Powershell and/or PERL scripting is favored.
Excellent communication, documentation, and organization skills are required. Must have track record of improving customer or IT efficiency and service. Must be a self-starter and capable of working as a team contributor and technical lead.
Education Requirements Microsoft certifications preferred. VMWare certifications preferred. Additional Technology certifications are preferred.
