Job Description:-
The person in this role will lead the Hyderabad Engineering Compute Operations based on widely distributed Windows and Linux Engineering Compute Infrastructure. This position will be responsible for developing processes, standards, and integrating architected solutions into various environments.
Desired Profile:-
- Skills/Experience Overall 8 to 10 years of experience. *6+ years of Windows Server Experience with Expert Level Troubleshooting Skills. *4+ years of Linux/UNIX Server Experience with Expert Level Troubleshooting Skills. *3+ years experience in SAN, NAS Storage. *Experience using HP, SUN, NetApp, and Cisco hardware. *Scripting Language Experience is a plus (VBScript, PERL, PowerShell, Python) *Linux Server experience (Ubuntu, SuSE, RHEL). *SQL Server Experience (MSSQL, MySQL). *Basic understanding of SCM and software development processes. *Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with customers and partners from both IT and Engineering.
- Team *Analyze and make suggestions on the improvement to the overall infrastructure *Develop Strategic deployment methods of technologies across multiple domains *Provide Escalation support to assist troubleshooting efforts of client issues. *Participate in cross functional discussions regarding trends modeling and futures planning *Server administration tasks (backups, upgrades, etc.) *Windows/Linux server tuning *Participate in the architecture process for distributed solutions. *Knowledgeable in UNIX/Linux.
