Job Description
Work as part of the world-wide architecture and logic design team to define the architecture and design for various next-generation test-chip and product designs. Primary responsibilities include generating architecture and micro-architecture specifications that define the over-all technical scope of the project and covers all aspects of the design cycle. The job also involves RTL design of soft-macros defined in the architecture specifications.
Desired Profile
• Masters in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with at least 8 years of experience in Logic design, Micro architecture and architecture definition
• Experience working with complex designs including multiple IP blocks and clock domains
• Experience with physical implementation, synthesis and P&R
• Knowledge of memory technology such as – DDR3, LPDDR2 is a plus
• Experience working on physical layer (PHY) designs is a plus
• Experience working in a multi-site environment.
Job Functions include:
• Working with cross-functional teams to identify the components (IPs) that are required in the test-chip/product design
• Analyze and identify system level issues in clocking, packaging and interoperability of IPs
• Promote re-use of components across various projects
• Defining top-level and internal interface and registers
• Writing the architecture specification for test-chip or product IPs
• Generating soft-macros (RTL) to be used in test-chip/product designs.
