Qualifications : 

• Good academic record as defined by the concerned with atleast 55% of the marks, or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s degree level, in law from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an Indian University.
• Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, candidates must have cleared the Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC, CSIR, or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET For those with Ph.D degree. However, the candidates having Ph.D degree in the concerned subject are exempted NET.
• Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-clauses (i)an(ii) above, candidates, who are or have been awarded a Ph. D Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D Degree) Regulations,2009 shall be excempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appintment of Asst Professor /Guest Faculty.
• NET/SLET/SET is not conducted .

Application Fee : Application form may be downloaded or may be obtained from the Office of the Dean, Faculty of Law, AMU, Aligarh during office hours on payment of Rs.150/- ( Prescribed Fees) to be deposited in Cash Section, Finance & Accounts Department , AMU or Demand Draft if Rs 150 payable to Finance Officer AMU .
